המרכז ללימודי מוגבלות שמח להזמינכם/ן לסדרת מפגשים בנושא אוטונומיה ובחירה בשירותי הרווחה לאנשים עם מוגבלות. בסדרה, בה יקחו חלק חוקרים/ות מובילים מהעולם, נבקש ללמוד מהניסיון הבינלאומי כיצד ניתן לעצב בישראל שירותי רווחה תומכי קהילה, בחירה ואוטונומיה עבור אנשים עם מוגבלות.
בשני המפגשים הראשונים נתמקד ברעיון של שירותים מכווני אדם ובאתגרים שביישום מודלים של "תקציב אישי". במפגש השלישי נבחן את הסוגיה של כשרות משפטית וההיבטים המגדריים שלה. במפגש האחרון נקיים פאנל מסכם, בהשתתפות פעילים/ות
חברתיים/ות, קובעי/ות מדיניות וחוקרים/ות, ובו נדון בתובנות העולות מהניסיון הבינלאומי וכיצד הן משפיעות על תהליכים לעיצוב מדיניות בישראל.

The Millie Blum virtual series on:
Autonomy and Choice: International and Local Perspectives on Welfare Services for People with Disabilities

In the series, composed of world-leading scholars, we will seek to learn from international experience on how to design welfare services that support people with disabilities in exercising their autonomy, choice, and independence. The first two sessions will focus on the idea of person-centered support and the challenges of implementing “individual budget” schemes. The third session will examine gendered aspects of legal capacity. In the concluding panel social activists, policymakers, and researchers will discuss insights arising from international experience and how they affect policy-making processes in Israel.
